The Gowns of the First Ladies was a very interesting exhibit - a glimpse in American History.

Gowns in the First Ladies Collection worn by Martha Washington, wife of President George Washington, First Lady 1789-1797; and Abigail Adams, wife of President John Adams, First Lady 1797-1801, in setting depicting the drawing room in the Executive Mansion in Philadelphia with furnishings owned by President Washington.
