Roy's Postcards: 1983/11/24

(LEONARD) I saw these beautiful swans at Disneyland today. They were swimming in the water. We also saw ducks when we went to Tom Sawyer's Island. We went in Sleeping Beauty's Castle.

Postcard back:

Swans glide peacefully across the moat guarding Sleeping Beauty Castle. The drawbridge remains open, gateway to a land of fantasy and dreams come true.

Leonard's comments:

I saw the back of the postcard first and expected another bland Disney scene on the front, but check out the cloudy sky and that ominous lighting. It looks like Sleeping Beauty's castle (sorry, Sleeping Beauty Castle) is settling in for a seige.
