Roy's Postcards: 1983/12/05
Inscription:
Following an aborted trip to Disneyland (they were closed), we (Frances, Rachel and I) went to the shops at Knotts' Berry Farm and visited Independence Hall - an exact replica of the building in Philadelphia. The history was very interesting. We had lunch at the fried chicken Restaurant and it was delicious.
Postcard back:
Step back in time.
INDEPENDENCE HALL at Knott's Berry Farm dramatically dominates the skyline at night with its tower aglow. Guided tours of this brick-by-brick reproduction of America's most historic shrine are given daily.
