Roy's Postcards: 1984/09/23

(LEONARD) I went to the Los Angeles Arboretum to see the Turtle Show. I saw lots of turtles from all over the world and all different sizes. We saw the peacocks, fish, ducks. J.J. Whitesides and Gladys Canton went with us and we had a really good time.

Postcard back:

The DESERT TORTOISE depends mainly on annual wildflowers such as the DESERT CANDLE for food.
