Postcard back:
Indian, or Bengal, tiger, believed to be the largest ever taken in that country, was shot in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh in November, 1968, by David J. Hasinger of Philadelphia. Mr. Hasinger presented the specimen to the Smithsonian Institution in 1969.
