Inscription:
Dear Franny,
Well, here I've gone down to the end of the town without consulting you again. I got here Tues. the 15th and yesterday I saw a wonderful collection of Fabrege miniatures and I went to see Lauren Bacall in "Sweet Bird of Youth." Today I am going by boat & train to Amsterdam. I have a 15 day Eurail pass so I'll be wandering around a bit.
Love,
Leonard

Leonard's comments:
A rare postcard in my collection that's neither to or from my father. This is from my uncle Leonard to my mother. "The end of the town" is a reference to a poem from "When We Were Very Young."
