Frances, Leonard & I drove along the North Shore this afternoon, stopping at Sunset Beach and others -- seeing the giant waves come crashing in, many with surfers.

Postcard back:

PIPELINE - Oahu's North Shore offers surfers from throughout the world some of the most challenging surf conditions available anywhere. Huge curls create the pipeline effect for which the area is noted.
