Roy's Postcards: 1986/11/18

Frances, Leonard and I visited the Vietnam Memorial today. It was my first time to see it. While I had no good friends that died in the War, I was still very moved to see the names of so many of the people my age that had died. Panel 10W line 9 - Roy Lee Richardson. The name of my grandfather, though not him. Somehow - It really touched me.
Leonard's comments:
I never realized how new the Memorial was at the time of our visit: only four years old.
