Roy's Postcards: 1987/05/22

Inscription:

We traveled part of the San Joaquin Valley today. Stayed last night at Gary & Helen's. Went swimming and all around Arvin checking out everything. Saw a house on Plumtree this morning but not very impressed. We are now in Columbia in the mountains with Frances' uncle Richard & Gail Call.

Postcard back:

SAN JOAQUIN VALLEY, CALIFORNIA
This large valley stretches from above Stockton to the north, and south to Bakersfield. It is the richest agricultural area in the world. PHOTOGRAPHS BY ARNOLD COMPOLONGO

Leonard's comments:

Never has a postcard depicted so many sights I'm completely sick of seeing.
