Roy's Postcards: 1991/06/18

Inscription:

Leonard, Susanna, Rachel and I hiked up to Double Arch today. We had a wonderful visit to Arches Nat. Park

Postcard back:

DOUBLE ARCH
ARCHES NATIONAL PARK
The unusual Double Arch consists of two arches stemming from a common base. The larger arch extends 165 feet from reef to base and towers 156 feet above the debris below. It can be seen from the road in the Windows Section of the park, however, a short walk from the Windows Section parking area allows you to see this beautiful arch more closely.
