Roy's Postcards: 1987

Postcard back:

SUN TEMPLE
MESA VERDE NATIONAL PARK, COLORADO
Situated on a promontory between Cliff and Fewkes Canyons, Sun Temple looks down on Cliff Palace, Mesa Verde's larges Cliff Swelling (background). Built during the great drought of 1276-1298, apparently Sun Temple was never finished.
