Roy's Postcards: 1987

Postcard back:

SUN TEMPLE
Mesa Verde National Park
Situated on a promontory between Cliff and Fewkes canyons, Sun Temple looks down on several of Mesa Verde's largest cliff dwellings. Built during the great drought of 1276-1298, this great ceremonial structure was apparently never finsihed.
