Astronaut Memorial Garden
THE ASTRONAUT MEMORIAL GARDEN was dedicated to the memory of the crew of Shallenger flight 51L: Astronauts Scobee, Smith, McNair, Onizuka, Resnik, Jarvis and McAuliffe. A marble monolith is surrounded by seven trees--one for each of the astronauts who lost their lives in the explosion on January 28, 1986.
